volunteer with the rodeo

The Valley Center Stampede Rodeo and Memorial Festival is seeking responsible volunteers to team with us in producing our 20th annual community event. The Rodeo and Memorial Festival is scheduled for 24 and 25 May, 2024 and is located at Star Valley Park on Valley Center Road. Anyone is welcome to volunteer and no prior rodeo experience needed to help out! Just a passion for western traditions and a heart for our Valley Center community.

Since 2002, the Valley Center Stampede Rodeo has provided a family-friendly rodeo as part of the annual week-long western heritage celebration that began in 1950. In 2015, we created the Memorial Festival to pay tribute to our nation’s veterans. The Valley Center Stampede Rodeo & Memorial Festival provides the ultimate venue for our town and surrounding communities to come together and participate in America’s greatest showcase of patriotism and western heritage…rodeo!

Valley Center Stampede Rodeo, Inc. is an all-volunteer organization, registered as a California Non-profit through the office of Attorney General – there are no paid positions. As such, we truly appreciate our dedicated volunteers and we welcome new volunteers each year. If you are interested in joining our efforts to put on the 2024 Valley Center Stampede Rodeo & Memorial Festival, we would love to hear from you. Each year, we utilize over 150 volunteers over the course of the week leading up to and including the two-day event. Without volunteer support, the event would not be possible.
